day-of-the-dead2

Halloween is just two weeks away, and it is always a fun time to put Yummi Yogi’s out-of-the-box thinking to the test.

From over-the-top costumes and decorations to horror houses and film festivals, it is one of the most unconventional times of the year. People are consumed by the sights, sounds, and smells around them, and more often than not, fighting a sweet tooth.

We would be at a loss not to use such a perfect opportunity to express our creative energy. After all, who said you can’t be a yoga lover and a Halloween enthusiast at the same time?

From zombie brides to Wonder Woman, we carefully craft my fitness-inspired cookies to embrace the very best of the fall season. I’ve come to find that baking is only limited by the imagination, and that there’s always an innovative twist waiting to be discovered.

Why stop at carving a pumpkin when you can create a pumpkin patch cookie?

Baking is not something our design gurus do out of obligation or as a means to an end. It is something they’re truly passionate about and excited to share with the world. And with so much to draw inspiration from – movies, celebrations, folklore – we find ourselves overwhelmed by the possibilities in the kitchen. If “scary” isn’t your thing, you might be surprised to know that there’s quite a bit of romance woven into the history of Halloween.

Day of the Dead Warrior

Adding our personal touch on holidays like the Day of the Dead has proven to light up the room and create lasting memories. It is always fulfilling to play a part in creating a product that people will remember and cherish.

If you already have one of my Artisan Cutting Boards, you’re off to a great start. Now think of how you can take everyday appetizers and snacks, like these deviled eggs, and add a unique finishing touch to impress your guests.
