There’s no sweeter way to celebrate the holidays than with something thoughtful and homemade. Something adorable, delicious, even inspirational to show your loved ones that you’re thinking about them.

Linzer cookies, chocolate-coated pretzels, macaroons… I have so many guilty pleasures that it’s nearly impossible to narrow it down to just one holiday “favorite.” But who needs to choose when you have a one-of-a-kind cutting board designed to fit it all?

And what’s even better is that these adorable and delicious treats bring people together. Time away from very busy schedules to just love, laugh, and consciously slow down. Time to just be with the people who we sometimes take for granted or deserve to be showered with affection.

Whether you want to find the perfect gift or spice things up in the kitchen by trying a new recipe, there’s really no way you can go wrong when you put your heart into something. Baking is far more than meets the eye – it’s not just about finding the perfect temperature or mix of ingredients, but channeling and expressing your inner creativity.

When you pull a fresh tray of cookies out of the oven and start decorating, there’s no telling what the outcome will be! In my experience, it’s dozens of different shapes, sizes, and color combinations that make you feel happy and adorable…

If icing tubes aren’t your thing, don’t underestimate the power of a fun and edible decoration. Fancy sprinkles, glittery dust, sugar lace, hearts and flowers – there are ENDLESS ways to take a traditional recipe to the next level.

One of the reasons I love baking so much is because it’s both an art form and a hobby. You can take a lot of pride in your work and easily involve other people when you want to spend quality time with them. As a family owned and operated business, I know just how important it is to maintain a work-life balance – and these Valentine’s Day treats are the perfect craft to do with friends and family. In fact, I would strongly encourage you to make it an annual tradition. Yoga party, anyone?

Make time for yourself and the people you care about. Love what you do and be an inspiration to others. I hope you have a wonderful Valentine’s Day and be sure to check out my gallery for more heartfelt ideas!
