Winter is not over, although it can be confusing based on the crazy weather we’ve had here in New Jersey! But in any case, snow or no snow, this is the time when most women and men kick their workouts into high gear to get their bodies beach ready for summer or the quick warm getaway! And it should come as no surprise that one of the most popular workouts to get those beach bods ready is yoga!

Yoga offers several different, low impact ways to get your body in shape in time for that two-piece. Here are some other tips to getting the most out of  your yoga practice….

  • Change it up – Try different types of yoga. Different styles of yoga like vinyasa, Bikram, hot yoga, and restorative yoga all offer their own unique benefits and help to target different areas.
  • Eat healthy – This tip should go without saying but it’s often the hardest part to staying fit because we get bored eating the same rotation of healthy meals all the time. Keep things fun and interesting by trying foods you’ve never had or preparing your old standbys in new ways.
